Newspaper= the profit went down 96.8 per cent on the $216m (£143m) achieved in the same period last year.

T.V= $875 million

The value is of Newscorp is US$ 53.121 billion.

Time W arner

T.V= they produced ad revenues of $790 million, and went up by 9%

Time Warner’s value is $ 25.8 Billion

Sony

T.V= the company made 25.7billion yen ($293m, £189m) compared with a 37.1billion yen loss in the April to June quarter the previous year.

Music= Sony Music, which includes Sony Music Entertainment with a 50% stake in publisher Sony they made $393m (£266m).

Gaming= Sony has actually posted a profit and its game division has announced a 400 Million Yen profit.  Bear in mind this is just for the 3rd quarter.

Sony is worth $78.88 billion

Viacom

T.V= Viacom had a 52% increase in second quarter net income and said advertising revenue at its U.S. Profit jumped to $420 million, from $277 million a year earlier.

Viacom is worth $2.4 billion
